Research Notes
- Field pass 2026-10-13: A brewery visit report clearly names MainStage Oktoberfestfest at 6% ABV on September 28, 2024. That older release is not transferred to the 2026 profile. No current ABV, IBU, named hops or brewery beer page were verified; the differently named Oktoberfest collaboration remains excluded.
- First pass: Location conflict: the medal list says Boulder; the brewery site gives its flagship as 450 Main St, Lyons, CO, and names a Gunbarrel location without a street address. The medal list city is kept in the frontmatter.
- First pass: The brewery site has no beer pages or tap list; its Toast ordering page returned HTTP 403 and a guessed /menu path returned 404.
- First pass: BeerMenus searches for the beer and the brewery returned nothing, and web search budget ran out before Untappd or press could be tried.
- First pass: No 2026 medal announcement from the brewery was found.
- First pass: Researched 2026-10-13.
- Second pass 2026-10-13: Untappd lists MainStage Oktoberfest as a collaboration with New Image at 5.3% ABV, but it does not use the medal entry's Oktoberfestfest name. No source confirms equivalence, so that strength is excluded.
- Deep dive pass 2026-10-14: the brewery site was read; it has no Oktoberfestfest description.
