Style Context
As category context only, the Brewers Association guideline for Smoke Beer covers any style incorporating smoke, from very light to black, and asks for a balance between the base style's character and the smoky properties; for smoked lagers, any phenolic notes should come from the smoke, not the yeast. No specs are published to compare.

Research Notes
- Field pass 2026-10-13: Searches for Corbett Cypress Pils found no matching ABV, IBU, hop varieties or brewery beer page. Brew York's same-named West Coast pilsner is a different brewery and is excluded.
- First pass: Open Brewery DB lists Corbett Brewing Company in Tucson with no website.
- First pass: Guessed domains corbettbrewing.com, corbettbrewing.co, corbettbrewingco.com and corbettbrew.com do not resolve, and Untappd brewery handles tried returned 404. Web search was unavailable for this run, so the brewery site, any Untappd listing and any medal press remain unfound.
- First pass: The style label for this file is the category name.
- First pass: Researched 2026-10-13.
- Second pass 2026-10-13: Beer-specific searches found medal coverage but no matching technical specifications. A San Juan Brewfest beer list names Cypress Pils under Anarchy Brewing of Durango, not Corbett, so its figures are excluded.
- Deep dive pass 2026-10-14: the brewery has no website on file and no new source was found beyond the earlier passes' searches.
