Style Context
As category context only, the Brewers Association guidelines for Brett Beer call for Brettanomyces character at low to high levels, medium to high fruity esters, low to medium-low acidity, no bacteria, and ABV and IBU that vary with the underlying style. Research Notes
- The brewery's our beers page loads an Untappd for Business menu, which supplied the style, ABV and bottle details and shows a silver medal emoji beside the beer name.
- The brewery's public Untappd beer list counts one beer under the Brett farmhouse style but did not show beer names when read without logging in.
- IBU, grains, hops and the Brett strain were not found; web search was unavailable for most of this run.
- Researched 2026-10-13.
- Field pass 2026-10-13: The exact 2026 medal announcement identifies the Brett beer but yields no numerical IBU or named hops.
- Deep dive pass 2026-10-14: the brewery's October 12, 2026 medal release (Brewbound and Nombase) refused every reader; a search excerpt of it calls the beer a Brettanomyces fermented ale brewed for the brewery's fifth anniversary, which is not recorded as data because the page could not be read.
