Brewery Description
The brewery's own site could not be read. The brewmaster, Evan Eldridge, is quoted in press:
We began with a Berliner Weisse-style ale that has roots going all the way back to the 16th century in northern Germany. From there, we experimented to find the perfect blend of fruits that would really shine through, eventually landing on 100 percent real blueberries and lemons. We also add a touch of milk sugar to give it a complex fruitiness that dances on the palate, with a tart finish.

Style Context
As category context only, the Brewers Association guidelines for American-Style Sour Ale call for medium-low to high natural acidity from bacteria and yeasts, fruity esters, no Brettanomyces, no wood-derived character, and ABV and IBU that may vary widely; that guideline places fruited versions elsewhere. The tart profile fits, while the blueberry and lemon additions are elements the guideline would usually route to another category.

Research Notes
- The brewery site returned HTTP 403 to both a direct fetch and the web fetch tool, so no brewery page is in sources; the brewery URL comes from the repository's Open Brewery DB enrichment.
- All specs come from a 2023 press feature; the 2026 medal entry may differ from that recipe and strength, which could not be checked.
- Open Brewery DB records a Reno location; the official winners list gives Sparks, which is kept.
- IBU, grains, hops and culture were not found.
- Researched 2026-10-13.
- Field pass 2026-10-13: The brewery's dedicated Mystic Voyage page publishes 15 IBU; no hops are named.
- Deep dive pass 2026-10-14: the brewery's words in Edible Reno-Tahoe (summer 2023) give the base, fruit and milk sugar; no hops or yeast strain.
